How to Support the Cultural Life of the Branch

Supporters of the Newsletter and Anthroposophy in our area typically make their donations to the Branch this time of year.  Donations ranged from $25 - $500 last year; $200 seemed to be most common.  Every donation is appreciated.  Funds are used to support anthroposophical initiatives, including the bringing of performances, lectures and other events to the community.  Generous donations at the door cover many, but not all, costs.

There are two easy ways to donate to the Branch:

1.    Via PayPal’s Giving Fund.

Then, click on the blue “Donate” button to the right of and above the Branch’s name (not on the “Start a fundraiser” button that is farther down on the page).

Choose or (better yet!) enter the amount of your donation.

Please be sure to click the box:  “Share my name and email with this charity” so that we can thank you!

Follow remaining instructions to pay from your bank account or credit card.

Why use PayPal’s Giving Fund?  Though it can take over a month for the money to arrive in the Branch’s account, this path reduces transaction fees (PayPal charges no fee for this) and environmental impact, while saving you the cost of a stamp.

Want a more challenging (but more rewarding🙂) giving experience?  If you have your own Paypal account, and link it to your credit card, you might be able, as I was, to use your credit card “points” to make the gift, instead of actually paying out of pocket.  I find this to be an easier and more efficient way to use “points” than trying to pay for car rentals or hotel rooms or air travel.
